Can’t believe how much natural medicine is all around us. I have been diving in to all the plants on the farm. finding out which are safe, helpful, or toxic. My goal to to gather and dry enough herbs for the horses and family for the winter.
Its been such a fun adventure!

From Raspberry leaves for hormones, to yarrow For skin. So many for anti-inflammation, and helping detox the body. I bought herbs for the horses of the winter and I saw a huge improvement in their overall health and gut health. Very excited to harvest my own.

Hello Handsome! Oliver has been coming along so nicely. Currently in his trail sensitivity training. Learning to react to new objects, sounds, and environments. Training a horse to know how to properly react is an important tool of communication. Teaching a horse to communicate how its feels in a safe way is a key part to horsemanship training. Feeling fear, should be more a feeling of concern.
Good well trained horses will trust its rider in any condition or place. But the horse should learn the ability to show concern, so the rider can re-asure the horse that they see the issue they are concerned with.
Sometimes a horse may see something that the rider does not, and may try and protect both of them from a possible injury.
Oliver is on his way to make a great partner in almost any discipline.

Everyone totally enjoyed their barn and bath time yesterday. Such an amazing blessing to have this barn.

The horses are currently in 24/7 turn out while we setup some “Mare and Foal” stalls.
